Results of 2017 Justice survey
We have been asked by the Criminal Justice System Review of Canada to circulate the following information regarding the results of the 2017 Justice survey.
Please see the below information for further details.
*************************************************************************
Last year, you were invited to participate in a survey on transforming the criminal justice system in Canada. The Department of Justice is pleased to announce that the report – based on two online surveys, a series of focus groups, and interviews with Canadians – is now publicly available.
Short summaries of the findings, broken down by subject, are available in Infographics and Research at a Glance publications on our website at: http://www.justice.gc.ca/eng/rp-pr/jr/index.html.
You can access the full report at Library and Archives: http://epe.lac-bac.gc.ca/100/200/301/pwgsc-tpsgc/por-ef/justice_canada/2018/012-17-e/index.html.
Data tables will be available at the Open Government Portal (https://open.canada.ca/en) later in 2018.
You may also be interested to learn that approximately once per month, the Research and Statistics Division (RSD) publishes research on justice issues on our website. Older reports are archived at publications.gc.ca or available upon request.
Thank you for taking the time to participate in this survey.
