We have been asked by the Federation of Law Societies of Canada to circulate the following letter from the Right Honourable Kim Campbell, Chairperson of the Independent Advisory Board for Supreme Court of Canada Judicial Appointments. Ms. Campbell encourages the Federation and its members to use their networks and knowledge of the judiciary and legal community in their jurisdictions to identify qualified candidates for the Supreme Court, and to urge them to apply through the Office of the Commissioner of Federal Judicial Affairs.

The deadline to file an application is September 15 , 2017.
