Registry Service by Appointment – Corner Brook

Beginning January 12, 2026, the Registry counters for both the Corner Brook General and Family Divisions will require an appointment for in-person service. Appointments can be made using the online appointment system.

Note that urgent in-person service may still be provided in absence of an appointment.

The Court encourages all persons to use the drop box located inside the courthouse whenever possible. The drop box is accessible during the Court’s normal business hours: 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday. Documents that are delivered to the drop box before 4 p.m. will be time-stamped as being received on the date of delivery; documents delivered to the drop box after 4 p.m. will be time-stamped as being received on the next business day.

For documents left in the drop-box, filing fees must be paid in one of the following ways: (1) the filing party may include a cheque enclosed with the document being filed; or, (2) the filing party may provide a contact name and phone number with the document so that the Court can process a credit card payment by phone.
