The Law Society Observes Remembrance Day
The Law Society of Newfoundland and Labrador would like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude and support for those who have served and continue to serve our great country, both in times of conflict and peace.
Remembrance Day is a solemn occasion to reflect on the sacrifices made in the pursuit of peace and freedom at home and abroad. We honour those who have fallen in the service of freedom, our veterans, active members of the Canadian Armed Forces, and their families. Their selflessness and courage continue to inspire Canadians today.
On 11 November 2025 at 11:00 a.m., we encourage everyone to observe two minutes of silence in recognition of this important day.
Please note that our office will be closed in honour of Remembrance Day.
For veterans or those who know someone who served and may need support, we encourage you to reach out to Veterans Affairs Canada for information and assistance.
Lest we forget.
