The Department of Education, through the Independent Appointments Commission, is seeking to add a representative of the general public to the Teacher Certification Review Panel. The main mandate of the Review Panel is to suspend or cancel the certificate or licence of a teacher who is guilty of gross misconduct, incompetence or for other just cause.
