Twelve new King’s Counsel will be sworn in at a Ceremony to be held on Friday, 31 January 2025, at 10:00 a.m. The Honourable Alphonsus E. Faour, Justice of the Supreme Court of Newfoundland and Labrador, will preside at the Ceremony. The Letters Patent appointing the twelve new King’s Counsel will be read and the Oaths and Affirmations will be administered to each new King’s Counsel. Justice Faour will then invite each new King’s Counsel to the Inner Bar.

The King’s Counsel Ceremony will take place in Courtroom No. 1 at the Courthouse, 309 Duckworth Street, St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador.
